The OreFront Ground Score
One 0–100 number per company land position that answers a single question: how good is this ground? It measures ground quality from registry data alone. It is not a valuation, price target, or investment signal · see the disclaimer.
Six components
Share of the company's claims sitting within 10 km of known deposits (USGS MRDS and state registries), strengthened where independent NI 43-101 resource data covers the ground. Known mineralization only; self-reported resources never enter the score.
Mean infrastructure score of the company's claims: distance to roads, power, mills, communities and airstrips, 0 to 100 per claim.
Share of claims whose registry expiry date sits more than 12 months out. Only computed where the registry publishes expiry dates; US federal claims (fee-maintained, no fixed expiry) show this component as not applicable.
Share of tracked weeks in which the position held or grew. Ground held through renewal cycles is not spec-grade ground. Fresh land rushes debut low by design and must survive to climb.
Net staking trajectory relative to position size over the tracked window. Capped at the district's 90th percentile so mass-staking cheap ground cannot buy a high score.
How consolidated the position is: claims per contiguous territory block. Focused districts score above scattered lottery-ticket portfolios.
Each component is normalized to a percentile within its district, so scores compare fairly across commodities and jurisdictions. Companies need at least 5 attributed claims and 3 populated components to receive a score; thinner positions show "insufficient data" instead of a junk number.

Integrity pledge
Sponsorship can never move a score. Ground Scores are computed from registry-derived data only. Sponsored placement on OreFront buys visibility enhancement, never score influence, and the score pipeline has no access to sponsorship data · this independence is enforced by automated tests. The corrections channel fixes data errors; it never grants weighting exceptions.
Dispute a score
